Group Matters

Groups juggle many things at once: questions to answer, proposals to decide, experiments to run, issues to follow. The work happens in many places (a forum, a poll, a pull request, a meeting), and it's hard to see the whole picture or remember how things were settled.

Group Matters is a shared place to keep track of all of it, without replacing any of those tools.

How it works

  1. Name a matter. A matter is anything your group needs to look into, decide or follow: a question, a proposal, an experiment, an issue.
  2. Attach a link to where it's being worked on, if there is one. Its title, status and dates can then be read from there automatically, or typed in by hand.
  3. See it all in one place: what's in progress, what was accepted or rejected, what's coming up, with a history of every change.
